It feels like Amazon is never talked about when the conversation is about streaming. Even though, when people talk about streaming Netflix is always the first word that comes to mind, Amazon’s offering is actually pretty robust and full of high-quality original shows and movies.
There are reasons for the lack of talk about Amazon Prime Video, the biggest one is the fact that Amazon Prime Video is more of a companion service to Netflix, overall it is just a weaker offer. It cannot replace or even compete with Netflix’s massive catalog of hit shows and originals.

Canceling the Amazon Prime Subscription

You can end your Amazon Prime membership, or cancel a free trial, at any time. In order to ensure that the free trial isn’t converted to a full membership, make sure you cancel the service before the trial period ends.

1. To end your Amazon Prime membership or cancel your free trial visit your Amazon Prime account page.
2. Depending on the status of your registration (free or paid), choose one of the following options:
3. To cancel your Amazon Prime membership, go to Manage, click on Update, Cancel, and More, and finally select End Membership. You will need to confirm your choice on the following screen.
4. To prevent the automatic conversion of your free trial period to paid registration, go to Manage, click on Update, Cancel, and More, and finally select End Trial and Benefits. You will need to confirm your choice on the following screens.

Please note that if you have not placed an order using the benefits of Amazon Prime, you are eligible for a full refund. Members that have only used the Amazon Prime delivery benefits are eligible for a partial refund. If the other benefits (Prime Video, Twitch, Prime Music) have been used, members are not eligible for a refund. Also, when you cancel your subscription you can still use it until the end of the subscription period.
